Sawyer, Ava, and I were finally able to get in to see Sharon. She did have some minor breathing difficulties in the recovery room so they moved her to the Surgical ICU to keep a closer watch for at least tonight. She has been mostly asleep but fades in and out. When awake, she has been talking to us coherently. When I asked her what she wanted me to tell everyone reading this blog, she replied, "She looks like shit." So, I have dutifully passed that along. She does seem to be in a fair amount of pain and can't wait to press the morphine button as often as allowed. But we made it through the big day and we'll take that for now. And contrary to what she said, I think she looks great for what she's been through.

You did make it through and you are the best dutiful husband!!! God Bless you all!! I'm thrilled she thinks she looks like "shit!" This means her priorities are in order and she's not thinking about what's going on. Keep the meds pumping I hate to think of her in any pain. Love and Prayers!! XOXO
Thanks for the update. We are happy to hear she is speaking with you! Carol and Phil
